Doge's Palace: Architectural Vignettes

Late in the afternoon I decided to go to the Manet exhibit in the Doge’s Palace. The exhibit drew connections between the old Italian master Titian and Manet, of the early 20th century. Apparently Titian’s work influenced that of Manet. Photography was not allowed in the exhibit but I grabbed some shots in the palace before and after.

Afterwards I sat on the piazza drinking Sambucco and listening to this jazz quartet as I savored my last evening in Venice.
